Hoosier Hiker new to the board

Hello all. I've been a day hiker for several years, mostly state parks in Indiana/Illinois, but also several longer hikes in the Smokies & such. The family and I are getting into backpacking this year, with trips already planned in the Hoosier National Forest, as well as Red River Gorge in KY. Hoping to do some solo adventures as well. I love the mountains, Indiana is too flat!

Welcome to the forum Mtn Dude. In years past I've considered heading to Red River Gorge a couple times but never quite made it. Would be interested to hear how the trip goes!
