I just spent 3 nights on Santa Rosa Island, great day hikes, and only 1.5 miles from the pier to the campground

If anyone enjoyed the TCT rec Channel Islands NP as well both for hiking AND with some time on the water around the NP paddling, diving, etc. Great to experience both Catalina and CI NP while including time on the water as well? Same with Isle Royale NP! If doing CI NP get experience more than one island by ferrying or paddling. Way off the grid.
