The blessing of learning opportunities

Just had to share this. I had the chance to attend an AMC Hike Leader training last weekend in Connecticut. The leaders were phenomenal guides in walking the group through important information in a very condensed format. The practical examples taught lessons that I know all of us there will not forget. And hey, how tough is it to do a class under sunny skies in 80 degree temps on the trail?

Now to find the time to co-lead a hike so I can complete the cert and lead some local hikes of my own....
