Why be on other forums, TG not good enough?

Why talk about those forums on this forum?

Do folks talk about TG on those other forums?

Sorry, I know I'm a bit of a relic, but it feels to me like driving a Chevy while working at the Ford dealership. I'll just stick with my Ford; TG that is.

I've been too busy the last couple of months caught up in the Long Term Health Care Industry,and not able to get in any hiking time. Hopefully I can get back in the "groove" this month.

I tried to join another backpacking forum, but they rejected my email, after quite a lengthy jump through the hoops registration process, so ended up here. Hope that's okay! Also considered the Survivalist forum, but have been down that route and now have an incredibly full pantry and some fond chicken raising memories. Was briefly addicted to Pinterest and then Tumblr. I think my dog was getting sick of all the photo sessions, though, so she'll like my newfound hobby.

I found this site by referral from WB. I am also on a forum related to my job, and I used to be active on a martial arts forum.

And I moderate a national forum on wilderness survival/ emergency preparedness.

On all of them I try to keep my username Myakka. That way if folks will know it's me, for good or bad. (Hopefully more good than bad.)
