Hello from the Ozarks in Arkansas!

Hello everyone! My name is Scott and I live in Conway AR. I love getting out and backpacking as much as I can (but not as much as I would like). Arkansas has so much to offer that I can literally stay home and never run out of places to hike or backpack. I found this site from backpackingarkansas.com. It is a great site to see any trail info you need to know about in Arkansas. Check it out sometime!

Hello Scott and welcome...............

About 10 years ago I used to travel for business from the Kansas City area to Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Little Rock, Hot Springs, etc. Whenever possible I would sneak in an extra day or two to hike Ouachita (usually the eastern portion) or the Ozark Highland Trail.

Consider yourself lucky indeed! I changed jobs, so I haven't been back for a long time. Northwest Arkansas is a treasure trove of hiking and backpacking. Brings back great memories.
