I am planning on doing this same (or very similar) hike in early fall. Beautiful pictures! Were you happy with your campsite choices or would you do things differently? I haven't gotten down to planning mileages for the days but imagine they will be very close to yours.

Visited the Pictured Rocks right after Labor Day 2014. Beautiful place, Chapel loop is a must for anyone visiting this park. Going back this summer and hope to see all the sites.

Pictured Rocks was the first backpacking trip I did in May of 1979. We started at Munising and finished at Tahquamenon Falls. There was very little trail maintenance at that time. In several places the trail had fallen off the edge and down to the lake. My son was 18 and just out of high school. We are planning to go back next summer and take his wife and daughter along for four days.

I remember taking a few of the same pictures a you did.
