Hi everyone

My name is Matt and I am from Melbourne Australia! 

I have joined the forum because in addition to getting into some more overnight hiking (after previously only having done day hikes and car camping) my partner and I are are currently planning an extended overseas trip (in about 18 months) during which we hope to spend as much time hiking and camping as possible, and we need as much advice as we can get (I will start a different thread all about this!).

Looking forward to discussing the many possibilities with you all!
