39 year old ready to finally start living!!!

Hello everyone, I am new here so just thought I would check in with a little info on myself.  I am 39 and have lived in Indiana all of my life.  This June the wife and I are celebrating out 10 year anniversary with our first trip out west.  We are doing Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon NP.  Will probably explore a little bit of the escalante area while we are out there.  Lately I have had a very strong desire to get out there and really see some beauty in nature.  I really want to start backpacking but my wife is not into it so Ill have to wait for my boys to get a little older before they can go with me.  Zion has been high on my bucket list for a long time so cant wait to finally get to explore it.  In the following years I plan to hit as many NP's as possible.  Glacier, Yosemite and Canyonlands being my top choices.  Anyway, really glad I found this forum and cant wait to share my experiences.
