Who Is Getting Out This Weekend- Dec 1-2

December! Where the heck did the year go? December also marks the beginning of the rainy season here in SoCal so hiking might be limited for me this weekend. I will try to get out but not sure where. What about you guys?

I have a short bikepacking trip lined up on the 15th. A quick overnight at West Fork...most likely the last one for this year. Next year, I hope to do a few hikes in the Sierra's. I have plans to do Rae Lakes and Jennie Lakes.

For the other non Sierra trips, perhaps Sespe Wilderness and more trips around Angeles National since it's pretty much my backyard

Any ideas where you plan on backpacking to yet?

No plans yet mangus7175 but that sounds like a fun weekend coming up. I have heard Jennie lakes are spectacular

We are expecting heavy rains tonight that will result in flooding on the Truckee River...I'm hoping to get out today for some exploring before the "atmospheric river" lets loose. Maybe a hike along Lahontan Reservoir or the Stillwater Wildlife Refuge.
