Another Hiker from SoCal

As you can guess by my forum name, I'm an old geezer! My wife and I have 3 kids and 5 grandkids, all of whom love hiking, backpacking and camping. In fact the youngest grandkid calls me "papa hiking", cuz he and his mom go on day hikes with me so often!

I'm an ultralight backpacker, been carrying packs since the early 70s, car camping before then. Love the outdoors, love walking in the woods and hills! Hope to see you on the trails!

Welcome to the site - Sounds like hiking and backpacking is definitely the family event! We might be hoping for some of that SoCal hiking weather here in Wyoming in another month or two...
