Hello from MI!

Hello! 

I am from Michigan and due to finishing up Graduate school, I haven't hiked out state.. yet! So far my favorite MI backpacking trek was Grand Island in northing Mi, I highly recommend it! I have a trip planned for next week in NC that looks like it may unfortunately fall through due to weather :(. Anyways, I am new to backpacking online communities and look forward to learning from you all!

Hi Owleyes, - have a great upcoming trip and hope the weather is cooperative! Trying to time trips with weather can be tough - seems like any time I've delayed a trip due to weather the weather turned out to be great, so I try to stick to the date these days but perhaps that's just my luck.  Welcome to the forum!

Thanks! Yeah, I've always been lucky as well. Hoping my luck holds as well but looking at other options just in case.
