Hey guys, 

My name is Rhett and Im from the Atlanta Georgia area, Ive been backpacking off and on for the past 7 or 8 years and Im in the process of planning a trip to Yosemite with my Fiance´ this July. Im a professional musician playing guitar full time, touring the country and working as a recording engineer. I look forward to gaining as much knowledge as I can from these forums!

So this could be a working trip. Live music all over California. Enjoy your trip to Yosemite. Avoid the John Muir Trail and you'll have no problem getting permits.

Welcome!  Always a soft spot in my heart for Yosemite.  Don't forget about it's neighbor--Kings Canyon NP--much good stuff there also!
