Who Is Getting Out This Weekend- Oct 12-13

This weekend I am heading down to Orange County (or the OC as the kids call) to do a 10.5 mile loop in the Chino Hills. There are hints and allegations of redwoods in nearby Carbon Canyon I might check out as well. Who needs to go to Yosemite, go to the OC!

My wife and I are about to head out the door for 4 days in the Roan Highlands!

Don't have everything set in stone quite yet, but hoping to head over to the Green River Lakes Trailhead on the other side of the Winds and hit some out and backs that we couldn't make when we've passed through the area on one-way hikes in the past. Hopefully the weather forecast holds up!

Doing a 5k called Firkin Cancer Sucks on Saturday and on Sunday will be hiking up to Scott's Lake on Luther Pass in Tahoe for some fall color. Our local ski resort got enough snow last night for a snowman.
