Heart Lake Trail or Pelican to Lamar Trail in Yellowstone- Anyone hiked?

Anyone hiked either one of these trails?  Coming out west for early July hike and would appreciate any information you could share.  Hear there could possibly be bear issues at Pelican trail.

I hiked the heart lake trail last summer, it was in great shape.  You do have to walk through some swampy areas but they're pretty straightforward.  

For bear issues the rangers will close the trail so contact them when you get there.  No point in worrying now.
