finding backpack mission, need opinions

Def not the Exos. I could tell rifhr away at store that shoulder straps stinl and the Rei guy told me.Exos 58 have a high rate of returns.

Anyone know much about North Gace Banchee 65 pack? Outdoor Gear Lab raves about it. 

well....right now my base weight (before water, food, fuel) is at 21.5 lbs.

If I used the 60L Gossamer  instead of the Osprey Atmos 65, the base weight would go down to 18.5 lbs.

On top of that, if I returned the Copper Spur 2 and got a Nemo 2 Hornet tent instead, and Gossammer pack weight would come down to 17.3 lbs.

Thoughts?

On the PCT, the through hikers often use ULA packs a small company in Utah. I just took the plunge and bought the circuit.  They are around 2 1/2 pounds are designed to make everything you need during the day available without opening the pack or even taking it off. Check em out.

Some people are really sold on REI.  I have been a member since the late 60s, but no longer turn to them first.
