It's terrific to read about new members from all points of the globe (almost)! I'm living on the west coast on a large island with some pretty amazing trails and parks to enjoy and explore. I've only just begun my hiking adventures here, so I hope to be able to share with all of you what I find in the months & years ahead.

Hey toejam - Vancouver Island is my home. We're living in the upper half of the island in Campbell River, overlooking Discovery Passage.
