MT. Chocorua

so on the 30th of september my brother and I will be heading to NH to camp and then hike Mt. Chocorua.  We won't hike the mountain until Thursday the 1st. It should be peak leaf season up there so hopefully we'll get good views and some real nice pics.

 The plan is to stay at Jigger Johnson campground on the Kancamangus Highway which is right up the road from the trailhead. We'll be hiking the Champney Falls trail up to the summit. Anybody done this hike? probably camp a 2nd night then the objective is to drive from Conway back to CT without getting on a single highway. updates coming in october.
