Travel ideas from Denver airport to Maroon Bells, Colo?

Hello,

I am trying to plan a backpacking trip to Colorado next month. I will be flying into Denver and i need to

get to the Maroon Bells without incurring too much expense. Any ideas? I really don't want to rent a car.
