How did you spend your Easter?

On Saturday the wife and I went on a nice 15 mile hike on the IAT in the North Kettle Moraine SF. First hike of the year!

Opi, I've been to that WI State Park a couple of times myself. Nice place! Did you climb Parnell Tower?

My husband and I were in Wisconsin that weekend and we stopped at Parfrey's Glen Natural Area by Devil's Lake for a short hike there. It was pretty!

Jen, I did Parnell section last year. We hiked Butler lake to Mauthe lake. Great place for day hiking. I get over there once or twice a year for a day hike. Pretty and only a little over an hour from home.

Devils lake and Parfrey's glen are on my to hike list. There are bunch of other little scenic spots to check out in that area also.

My husband and I spent Easter weekend rock climbing, camping, and hiking at Giant City State Park and the Garden of the Gods in Shawnee National Forest. It was a great weekend!
