FoOT Gets Grant For Shelters

Just got the news we got the funding to build 4 shelters on the Oklahoma end of the Ouachita Trail. Bill told me he wants to get started as soon as it cools off this fall. I can't wait.

Sounds good Danny. I'm hoping they have us stay at Cedar lake while working on the shelters. It's my favorite campground in Oklahoma.

The OT Rock Garden(mile 9.4), Holson Valley Vista(m 16.8, great view), Winding Stairs(m 25), and Pashubbe(m 34) Shelters all in Oklahoma have been built. All very nice of the same design. I stayed at two of them within the past 7 days as I thruhike eastbound.
