Hi everyone, I'm taking a trip to the DR soon and I'm looking for some hiking info/suggestions. I want to do a moderately difficult, non-technical loop trail on a mountain. I've read that you are required by law to hire a guide in the DR when hiking...is this true? I'd rather go without one. Anyone with any info, please help!
